Dr. Philip Kotler is the S.C. Johnson & Son Distinguished Professor of International Marketing at the Northwestern University Kellogg Graduate School of Management in Chicago.

He is hailed by Management Center Europe as "the world's foremost expert on the strategic practice of marketing."

Dr. Kotler is known to many as the author of what is widely recognized as the most authoritative textbook on marketing: Marketing Management, now in its 13th edition. He has also authored or co-authored dozens of leading books on marketing.



Dr. Nirmalya Kumar is a member of the Group Executive Council of Tata Sons and is responsible for strategy at the group level.

Dr. Kumar was professor of marketing and director of Aditya Birla India Centre at the London Business School. He has previously taught at Harvard Business School, IMD (Switzerland) and Northwestern University (Kellogg School of Management).

Dr. Kumar has worked with more than 50 Fortune 500 companies in 60 different countries. He has served on several boards of directors, including ACC, Bata India, and UltraTech Cement.

As an author, Dr. Kumar has written six books, the latest being Brand Breakout: How Emerging Market Brands Will Go Global. He has published several articles in Harvard Business Review and other leading academic journals.

Dr. Sreerama KV Murthy received a PhD in Data Mining and Machine Learning in 1995 from Johns Hopkins University, which could make him one of the earliest PhD-holders in Data Mining in India. Prior to that, Dr. Murthy completed a Master's thesis in Next Generation Expert Systems from IIT-Madras Computer Science.

Automatically building mega-catalogs from Hubble Space Telescope images was Dr. Murthy’s PhD thesis. The software he designed is used till date in scores of countries. His paper on the topic continues to be a top-cited paper in the area of Decision Trees and Machine Learning. More >>
